1.Choose a sunscreen with few chemicals as possible.
2. Rinse off quickly when you have been swimming. Salt water and chlorine are drying.
3.Take short showers using lukewarm water.
4. Exfoliate once a week.
5.Wear as little make up as possible. My personal favorite, Bobby Brown's tinted moisturizer. You get a flawless look without the heavy make up look!

How to avoid and clear hyper pigmentation
1. Wash twice daily in circular motion with lukewarm water.
2. Wear an SPF 30 with UVA/UVB protection. Stay out of sun between 10 & 2 and if you can't, wear a hat with a brim.
3. Avoid highly perfumed cosmetics.
4. Best way to clear darkening spots is to apply products that contain azelaic acid, kgic acid, arbutus and vitamin C.
5. Exfoliate to remove dull, dead skin cells one to three times daily depending on skin type. My favorite serum and sunblock to treat hyper pigmentation is NIA 24. Pro-niacin is clinically shown to improve skin tone, texture and hyper pigmentation
